I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
